Well GTA the Fourth is not even out yet and it's already being lauded as the best game ever. After playing Vice City and losing interest after a few hours I swore I would never play another GTA game. Then, after breaking my promise and playing San Andreas until I was so frustrated with a mission I was throwing my controller I vowed again that I would never play another GTA game.

Now, the latest in the series, GTAIV comes out tonight and I find myself planning out which Gamestop I should go to tonight at midnight. Why? Because IGN gave it a 10. Because it looks beautiful. Because Eastern Block Gangsters are badass. Because it looks like they fixed many the issues I have with the series (except maybe mission frustration and difficulty).

So here I am again, wanting GTA, praying that it will live up to the hype, planning my midnight launch excursion. I'm giving in. Compromising myself.
