After forty years of manga, Duke Togo gets his own TV show.

You may remember the name from two NES games or two movies from years back. Golgo 13 has finally become a full length anime, with fifty episodes. Target 1, At Pin-Hole! starts with a hijacking of a domestic US flight, with threat of explosives that would blow the plane apart. Given the need to refuel to divert to the terrorist's destination of Columbia, the CIA and FBI pull Duke out of custody and give him $3 million, a laptop, and a nice new car, hoping he'll take the mission to snipe the target. Duke Togo, or Golgo 13, is an assassin for hire who only takes jobs that he finds acceptable according to his own set of 'rules'. To complete this mission, Duke pays about $300k for a custom rifle and an unmentioned sum for a round with a local blonde hooker. The action just keeps rising from there, so I will not spoil anything else.
