What do you get when you take three loli espers and pit them against a leather-clad homosexual who shoots pink beams from his crotch? Why you get Zettai Karen Children episode 1, of course.

Continuing our Spring 08 anime coverage comes a very pretty HD episode of Zettai Karen Children (translated, "Absolutely Lovely Children"). The shy one can sense things, the smart one can teleport and the tomboy can throw stuff (when she's not obsessing over boobs like a perverted old man).

Overall, it was entertaining. A straightforward magical girl show with some nice CG here and there coupled with a few funny moments. Maybe not as funny as Maid Guy, but ZKC is still worth a few laughs.
